Coats 4 Kids kick off event a huge success By Danny Palomba Sep 27, 2018 Sep 27, 2018 Facebook Twitter WhatsApp SMS Email Facebook Twitter WhatsApp SMS Email Print Copy article link Save Coats 4 Kids kick off event a huge success Wednesday’s Coats 4 Kids kickoff was a huge success!Many people and groups attended including the Freeman High School Marching Band and cheerleaders.Safeway donated a $1000 dollar check to help us buy brand new coats. $1600 in total cash donations were received at the event.Chester Elementary and Ponderosa Elementary donated hundreds of coats and Albertson’s collected over 950 coats.Kris even got a flu shot live on air!Safeway-Albertsons announced that they are having a competition between area stores to see who can collect the most coats.Make sure you donate too!
