SPOKANE, Wash. — You are invited to check out the 2023-24 Spokane Chiefs at the Spokane Arena later this week!
The Chiefs will be having their annual training camp at the Spokane Arena from Thursday, August 31 through Sunday, September 3.
The camp features 84 players split into four teams. No. 1 U.S. pick Brody Gillespie and No. 3 WHL Prospects pick Mathis Preston will take part in this year's training camp.
Practices will happen during the day and will end with two games each night.
Here is the schedule of the games:
Thursday, August 31:
4 p.m. – Game 1
6 p.m. – Game 2
Friday, September 1:
4 p.m. – Game 1
6 p.m. – Game 2
Saturday, September 2:
4 p.m. – Game 1
6 p.m. – Game 2
Sunday, September 3
8:30 a.m. – Team 3rd Place vs Team 4th Place
10:30 a.m. – Red-White Championship Game
Each game is free and open to the public. Anyone who wants to go is asked to enter the arena at the southeast corner near the Chiefs stadium store.
After training camp, the team will make cuts for their preseason schedule before the start of the regular season, which is scheduled for Friday, September 22 at Kamplooms.
